Khangai is a special and beautiful formation of nature, as well as a home to many rare species of plant and wildlife. There are many sources of mineral waters and springs. Since ancient time, a historical tradition to worship this area has been followed. The park covers 59,088 hectares in Arkhangai Province and was established in 1998. It’s a very difficult place to reach, but may be worth the effort if the jeep road, which is either muddy or potholed, is passable.
